It started when I went snowboarding, the sudden snap back of the wrist when I fell caused the forearm to get a little sore by the end of the day. That was a little over a month ago, and frisbee and weight lifting still cause minor discomfort during the activities. It feels almost as if right in the middle of the forearm (from wrist to elbow) the muscle is peeling away from the bone on the side of the arm your pinky would be on. I doubt that's what is truly happening but thats the general feeling of it. Now the pain is constant and almost numbing. What is this pain, and how can I get it to heal?

You have a sprain in that arm, a muscle that was jammed and is now looking to be released. You say you know which muscle it is, so press on it where it ends in the middle of your arm, what you described in your question and hold the pressure there for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds it should be releasing and you can bend your hand as far into your arm as possible then release the pressure but hold your hand like that for another 30 seconds.

Does your boyfriend underwent NCV(nerve conduction velocity) attempt? this is not plausible that it fairly is carpal tunnel syndrome because of the fact CTS in basic terms ensue on palms. possibly he has TOS (thoracic outlet syndrome) simply by tight muscle groups around the neck or there replaced right into a nerve pressed under the clavicle and this may well be the clarification why he's experiencing weak spot on his forearm and hand. even though, is the indications ensue on the two palms? or left/top hand?..... in any case its slightly confusing to be certain if all medical checks are destructive. yet dont be afraid with the spinal faucet or MRI because of the fact those are extra proper attempt to rule out different illnesses. The worst venture is that when he reports tigling sensation on his ft additionally (the two palms/ the two ft) with glove and stocking distribution if it fairly is the sign possibly its GBS(Guillain Barre Syndrom)-spinal faucet could contribute to rule out this. in any case dont be afraid merely have confidence your wellness care expert. desire my concepts helped you.

go to a doctor. You may have torn a muscle or fractured a bone. Get it checked seriously
