The side reaction is that I have a terrible pain in my whole leg, the knee pain goes away though; now what I do is try to experiment with smaller doses. I am having a difficult time adjusting the dose to have the knee pain go away but have no side effect. Has anyone experienced something similar and do you have any other recommendations. I do swim 2-3 times a week for excercise.

I tried taking glucosamine and chondroitin,, and had to lower the dose and take it in liquid form. Your nearest health food store might have a liquid form for you to make it easier to adjust your dose.
