I mean what actually happens to the structure of the foot? Is it the bones that suffer or the joints?
Please note that I'm not asking how to get RID of foot pain ... that is just too obvious, just answer the question, please

When you gain weight, you put more stress on everything, especially feet and legs since you have to carry that extra poundage around. Both bones and joints are stressed.

it's not just the feet that hurt when one puts on weight, elbows and knees hurt too. these joints bear the brunt of the weight and thus pain.

if pain goes on unchecked, it will actually lead to a sprain and you will break your joints. that's what will happen to your feet and joints.
