I am scheduled to have a time released steriod capsule in neck, Monday, Aug. 28? Any comments or advice?

I have osteoarthritis.
I already had an injection in lower. It did not work. The nurologist said get the shot in my neck so he could tell if the pain is caused from swelling and inflammation or if I need surgery. Advice, please?
