- I had some severe ankle sprain
- went to an Foot & Ankle podiatrist
- he took an X-Ray and said that nothing seems to be wrong
- he asked me to get an MRI taken
- I went to MRI and took my ankle scan
-once the MRI is done they gave me a CD which has images of the ankle

They said that the report would be sent to Doctor in 48 hours

Questions:
=======

1. Does the MRI imaging center sends a written diagnostics notes about my scan to the doctor ?

2. Since I have the CD now which has images, looking at them is there a way I can see and know
what might be wrong ? ( I know i need to be a doctor to do this, but curious too)

3. Any website where I can upload my images and someone in forums can tell me looking at the
pictures, if not I have to wait until next week for my doctors appointment.

yes the MRI center will read them and have a written report that they send to the doctor. they doctor will usually read them to. they is no way an untrained person can read them they are really confusing. no websites will really look at them and if you find one it wont be right usually.

Your doctor will get a written report. The reason they send the CD is just in case your doctor disputes the findings or need a deeper look at the diagnosis. You are not going to find out any more info until you see the doctor.
